• How should I prepare for my FreshGLO facial?

For 48 hours don't do any heavy exfoliation, peels, waxing, or other procedures. Do not use retinol products 72 hours before and after your treatment. If you have done a botox or filler treatment please wait 14 days prior to getting a FreshGLO facial. For those with a beard or other facial hair, do not shave the day of your FreshGLO facial.

  • How often do I need a FreshGLO facial?

We recommend getting a FreshGLO facial once a month. On an average skin cells turn over about every 28 days – our professional exfoliation and hydration in our facials aides in maximizing benefits to your skin through this process.

  • What is the cost of Microdermabrasion or Peels?

FreshGLO facial is an all inclusive treatment. We do not charge for any upgrades such as microdermabrasions, peels, red light therapy, gua sha massages, specialty masks, etc. Your perfect facial is exactly that, designed to be perfect for you with no surprise add ons.

  • What is your age minimum to receive a FreshGLO facial?

We don't perform facials on anyone 14 years old or under, and recommend seeing a dermatologist for skin issues. Anyone between the ages of 15 and 17 will need a parent or guardian to fill out and sign an intake form, either online before the appointment or in-person at your local GLO3O. The parent or guardian does not need to stay for the duration of the facial.

  • Can I get a FreshGLO facial while pregnant or nursing?

If you are pregnant or nursing please let your provider know prior to the start of your treatment, as well as, marking it off in preferences on your GLO3O app and verifying it on your check in prompt. This will allow our providers to take the best care of you by utilizing pregnancy and nursing safe ingredients. However, since everybody and every doctor’s recommendations are different, please speak to your physician for their specific guidelines.

  • Can I get a FreshGLO facial after having Botox?

We recommend rescheduling your facial if you have had Botox, fillers, chemical peels, or a skin procedure such as microneedling, microblading, dermaplaning, laser resurfacing, or laser hair removal within 2 weeks prior to your appointment. Ideally, we recommend doing a FreshGLO facial first and then scheduling your GLO3O Botox treatment.

  • Can I get a FreshGLO facial if I have a cold sore?

Not until it the scab has fully shed and the skin behind it has healed. Whether it's an active or healing cold sore, the movements of facial massage can actually exacerbate the lesion, or cause it to spread.

  • Do you treat milia?

We do not extract milia (which requires a lancet).

  • What if I am on accutane?

You will need to wait 3 months after completing your last dose of accutane and also speak to your physician to see when you can start facials, microdermabrasions, and peels.

  • Why don't you use steamers?

Our method of a steam compress (warm biodegradable towel) with facial massage and oil pulling relaxes the pores and softens the skin so that we can perform extractions without causing damage to the skin. While a steam machine is a common practice to relax the sebum (oil) in pores, it can actually dry out the skin and cause it to clam up the moment the steamer is turned off.
